Overview:

The students in this course will build upon their math background and enhance their critical thinking skills in order to develop mastery of the skills needed for the students to succeed in pre-algebra and beyond. This is a full year course where the students will re-explore variables, expressions, integers, solving equations and inequalities, rational and irrational numbers, ratios, proportions, probability, percents, and linear functions.  This re-exploration will help them gain more confidence and a stronger understanding on each of the topics.
